Zakaat and Zakaatability Authored by SSA Khader Chairman Jumma Masjid Trust Board
Bengaluru: SSA Khader, a prominent personality who has served at several top positions in the State Bank of India has written the publication “Zakaat and Zakaatability” has been released by former minister and Chamrajpet MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan and other eminent personalities at the premises of Qadriya Masjid Bengaluru. SSA Khader is also the Chairman of the historical organization Jumma Masjid Trust Board.
Talking to the media persons about the publication, SSA Khader said it’s a Handbook, which I have written after referring to over a thousand books on the subject. He said, it will eradicate all sorts of confusions with regards to the analyzing one’s properties worth and figuring out as to how much and how the Zakaat be calculated and given to the deserving. SSA Khader said the handbook contains about 150 Q & A and a number of Case Studies which is a unique feature of the publication.
Secretary of Jumma Masjid Trust Board Usman Sharif on the occasion said the publication is now available in Urdu and English and that it would be made available in other languages as well. He said that SSA Khader has held consultations with scholars of all faiths and Maslaks while scripting it to ensure complete authenticity of the subject making it useful and a perfect guide for Muslims while they give Zakaat.
Chairman of the Karnataka Minority Commission Abdul Azeem asserted the importance of Zakaat in Islam as to how the method when practiced honestly and properly can bring equality among Muslims financially. He said the handbook by SSA Khader has a number indispensable points that Muslims must read and follow.
