Jumma Masjid Trust Board Issues Public Notice with respect to Shab e Baraat
Bengaluru, 27-03-2021: A Public Notice duly signed by the Secretary of Jumma Masjid Trust Board Usman Sharief has been issued in connection with the Grave Yard situated in the premises of Hazrat Sir Khazi Syed Shah Mohammed Abdul Khuddus Sahib (Rehmatullahi Alyh) Nandidurga Road that the Qabrastan-Graveyard would remain closed after Isha Prayer (Saturday) on 28-03-2021 till Fajr of Monday dated 29-03-2021.
The Secretary in the said public notice reminds that a meeting was held with religious scholars with respect to Shab e Baraat and visiting of the Qabrastan/Graveyard and decided to close the Qabrasthan as per the schedule furnished above, whereas it would be opened and accessible only for burials.
It is to be noted that the Jumma Masjid Trust Board (JMTB) has taken in to consideration the Guidelines issued by the Government of Karnataka in wake of celebrating the festivals amid the deadly pandemic.
The Secretary has appealed to the Musalliyaan and people at large for their cooperation in this regard.
